AEMO’s intranet was being redesigned to streamline information, to be more accessible and intuitive to use, as well as to be more engaging. They wanted an identity to play a key role in developing the intranet’s character and personality, and they called it Mo.
Partisan were engaged to create the new identity. 'Mo' was designed to encourage employees to think of the intranet as useful to them and their roles and for employees to develop a positive relationship with it. Mo is gender neutral though if it spoke would probably have a canadian accent - 'ey'? Mo.
Developed to be clear and engaging, fun, fresh and friendly, Mo is also sophisticated, smart and quirky. Mo can be dressed up or down (with for instance a moustache being added in November or Santa hat in December) and loves to be animated.
